Salem City Early Voting Information
Registrar’s Office: 19 East Clay Street, Salem, VA 24153 540-375-3034
- September 20 to November 2, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Early, no-excuse voting at the Registrar’s Office. Parking available on Farmer’s Market. Curbside voting available for less mobile voters.
- October 14: Last day to update your registration or to register to vote in the November election
- October 25: Last day to request an absentee ballot application to vote by mail
- October 26: Registrar’s Office open on Saturday for in-person voting 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- November 2: Registrar’s Office open on Saturday for in-person voting 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Deadline to vote early is 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 2.
- November 5: All precincts will vote at the Salem Civic Center for in-person voting 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
